Paraffin, refined, translucent white, odorless, slightly oily to the touch, perfect for the manufacture of candles, hotmelt glues and paper treatment. Thanks to its known insolubility in water and its resistance to chemical agents, it is excellent as an additive in the formulation for encaustics for wood. Excellent as a sliding compound to be applied between supports at risk of friction. Also useful in decorating furniture to get the stressed effect in Shabby chic style.
